The record-setting fundraising efforts of the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Michigan series benefiting Special Olympics Michigan continued on Saturday all across the state with five plunges. In Mt. Pleasant, 330 participants braved the 20-degree weather, which made the 35-degree water temps seem warm by comparison. All told, the Mt. Pleasant Plunge raised $60,000 with the other locations in Saginaw, Alpena, Lake City and Munising bringing in an additional $73,500 to push this season's Polar
